The Danville Post 210 Speakers are still looking for their first win at the Champaign Wooden Bat Tournament.

On Friday, Danville managed just two runs on eight hits as the Speakers dropped a 13-0 contest to Wilmette and a4-2 game to St. Charles.

In the opening game against Wilmette, Danville struck out 12 times. J.D. Learnard suffered his first loss in the contest, giving up four runs in five innings.

In the second game, Chadd Snyder had two hits, a double and an RBI, but it wasn’t enough against St. Charles.

Danville (14-7) also suffered an 8-6 loss to Urbana late Thursday night. Post 210 will conclude the tournament today with a noon contest against Arlington Heights.
