DANVILLE — The Danville Area Community College men's basketball team struggled in the first half, but turned it around in the second half to defeat Lincoln Land 55-53 on Wednesday at the Mary Miller Gym.

Glen Burns had 13 points and four steals off the bench as the Jaguars scores 37 points in the second half after being down 29-18 to the Loggers, while Cayman Meier had nine points, Joseph English and Virgil Fleming each had seven points while Fleming had six rebounds and three steals and Kenny Dean and Efe Igho each had five points.

As a team, DACC shot 45 percent from the field in the second half and shot 65 percent from the free-throw line.

The Jaguars will stay at home on Saturday to play John Wood Community College


DACC 93, Lincoln Land 33

DANVILLE — The No. 16 ranked Lady Jaguars had five players in double figures and was two points away from having seven players in double figures in defeating the Loggers.

Molly Bridges had 15 points and 10 rebounds for DACC, while Kelsie Ratliff had 14 points, Asia Green had 13 points, six rebounds and eight assists, Brianna Jones had 12 points, 15 rebounds and four assists and Allison Gill added 10 points.

Addison Voyles and Quintianna LeShoure each added nine points for the Lady Jaguars, who are 21-6 and 6-1 in the Mid-West Athletic Conference and will host John Wood Community College on Saturday.
