WESTVILLE — The Oakwood boys basketball team jumped out to a 33-16 halftime lead and went on to beat Westville 70-55 on Friday in Vermilion Valley Conference action.
Elijah Harden had 23 points for the Comets, while Josh Young had 18 points and Brevin Wells had 10 points.
Bryce Burnett had 19 points for Westville, while Raef Burke had 18 points and Dalton Rolinitis added eight points.
Salt Fork 69, Chrisman 37
CATLIN — Payton Taylor had 29 points as the Storm beat the Cardinals.
Clayton Jarling had 16 points for Salt Fork, who had a 27-17 halftime lead, while Dawson Dodd added eight points.
Layne Smith had 11 points for Chrisman, while Porter Hale had seven and Gage and Gavin DeWeese each added six.

DANVILLE — Joel Cundiff had 22 points to lead the Knights past Hopedale’s Christian Life Academy.
Joel Menez had 16 points for First Baptist, while Bryson Harris had 15 points.

DANVILLE — Lexi Doggett had 22 points as the Knights crushed Christian Life Academy of Hopedale.
Maddie Cooper had nine points for First Baptist, while Noelle Epling added six.

DANVILLE — The Thunderbirds jumped out to a 7-0 lead and would not look back as they beat the Dashers.
Justin Brausen scored the only goal for Danville, while Sam Turner and Tyler Quintos assisted in the goal.
Harley White and Jesse Gordichuk combined for 32 saves in goal for the Dashers, who will play the Thunderbirds again today at 7:05 p.m.
