DANVILLE — While they gave up the first goal of the game, the Danville Dashers did a lot to answer back.

The Dashers scored the next four goals and would go on to beat the Battle Creek Rumble Bees 7-3 to finish off a weekend sweep Saturday at the David S. Palmer Arena.

Tyler Quintos had two goals and two assists for Danville, while Jesse Neher had a goal and two assists and Nick Gullo had a goal and a assist. Brad Denney, Fred Hein and Levi Armstrong each had a goal, while Patrik Zilak and Seth Ensor each had two assists and Justin Brausen, Alex Pommerville and Mitch Atkins each had one assist.

Harley White had 25 saves in goal for the Dashers, who will face the Mentor Ice Breakers on Friday.

Hoopeston Area 59, GCMS 55

HOOPESTON — Down 29-24 at halftime, the Cornjerkers poured on the points to beat the Falcons.

Lucas Hofer had 14 points for Hoopeston Area, while Peyton Berlin had 13, Cameron Flint and Josh Delfino each had 12 and Mauricio Gonzalez added six.

West Lafayette 69, Covington 58

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Logan Pinkerton had 24 points, but the Trojans could not keep up with the Red Devils.

Caleb Ellmore had 14 points and 12 rebounds for Covington, while Daniel Keller had 10 and Colton Brown added eight.

Fountain Central 53, Sheridan 45

VEEDERSBURG, Ind. — The Mustangs overcame a seven-point deficit in the third quarter to beat the Blackhawks.

Andrew Shabi had 18 points for Fountain Central, while Jake Smith had 14 and Carson Eberly added 12.

Judah Christian 49, Westville 40

CHAMPAIGN — A rough second quarter was key as the Tigers lost on the road.

Hunter Lange had 13 points for Westville, while Hadley Cox had 10, Emma Myers and Chloe Brant each had six and Mackyznee Woodard added five.

Fountain Central 56, Geo-RF 9

GEORGETOWN — Dakota Borman had 29 points as the Mustangs raced past the Buffaloes.

Gracie Foxworthy had 14 points for Fountain Central, while Jerzi Hershberger had seven of the team’s 21 steals, Gwen Sandlin had five steals and six assists and Larissa Bowers had 11 rebounds.

Hoopeston Area 43, Cissna Park 18

HOOPESTON — Ali Watson had 21 points and 12 rebounds as the Cornjerkers beat the Timberwolves.

Lexie Breymeyer had 13 points for Hoopeston Area.

Fountain Central 1-4 at meet

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. —The Mustangs could beat Pioneer 42-26 at the Mountie Duals at Southmont High School.
