Warren and Fountain County Economic Development and the West Central Career and Technical Education cooperative are hosting an event to bring together industry stakeholders to help identify ways to focus upon the key skills needed for success within the local workforce.

The invitation is appropriate for business owners, plant management, human resources, local government, foundations, education administrators, guidance counselors, educators and selected students.

The event takes place at 5 p.m. April 13 at the Beef House in Covington, Ind. Appetizers and beverages are provided.

A social time, speakers about subjects such as “Indiana’s Forgotten Middle Skills Jobs” and group facilitation to gather ideas from those present will occur.
