DANVILLE – Thirty vendors, including returning favorites and some new ones, will be on hand for the annual Christmas Village Craft Fair.
The craft fair is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Harrison Park Clubhouse, 1300 W. Voorhees St.
Admission is free. It is sponsored by the City of Danville Recreation Department.
“No matter what the weather is outside, we are always nice and cozy inside the historical Harrison Park Clubhouse,” said Danville Recreation Manager Cindy Parson. “This is always a great craft fair for buying those one-of-a-kind special gifts for the special people on your holiday list.”
Parson adds there is close parking and the clubhouse is handicapped accessible.
There will be four new vendors this year. Vendor Tamara Fisher will have chalk-painted picture frames, Dean Brenneman will have fabric and glass art work, Lisa Henton will have soaps and Sheila and Keith Steelman will have pottery.
All proceeds from the café will be donated to the American Cancer Society. The café will have chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans and bread on Friday; and hot dogs and polish sausage with chips on Saturday.
Other gift ideas at the craft fair will include: country wood crafts, quilted jackets, vintage remix, Old World Santas, hand sewing, scarves, doll clothes and beds, peanut brittle, florals, blankets, snowmen, hand-made socks, kettle corn, shabby-chic, crochet and knitting items, soy candles, caramels, wreaths, photo albums, handcrafted jewelry, gift baskets, baked goods and books.
