DANVILLE — A Danville man suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound during an incident Saturday.
About 12:44 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the area of the 1100 block of Harmon Street for a report of shots fired, according to police Commander Joshua Webb.
Officers learned a victim had left the scene and was at the OSF HealthCare Sacred Heart Medical Center emergency room for treatment.
Officers met there with a 20-year-old Danville man who had suffered a gunshot wound to his hand. The victim said he was sitting in a vehicle in the area of the 1100 block of Harmon Street when someone started shooting at his vehicle.
The man said he didn’t see who was shooting and was unable to provide a description of any suspects.
No other injuries were reported during this incident.
The investigation continues and no other information is being released at this time.
