New Hope Christian Church in Crawfordsville, Ind. was the setting for the June 11, 2011 wedding of Chelsea Powell and Uriah Paddock. Pastor Andy Harkleroad, uncle of the groom, performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Scott and Julie Powell of Covington, Ind. She has a bachelor’s degree in finance from IU Kelley School of Business. She is employed at Old National Bank.
The groom is the son of Leona Paddock of Covington, Ind. and the late Steve Paddock. He has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Ball State University. He is employed by Ceres Solutions.
Matron of honor was Tina Biesecker, aunt of the bride. Bridesmaids were Miranda Phillips, friend of the bride, Sydney Powell, cousin of the bride, Cassie Chaplin, sister of the groom and Ashley Paddock and Lauren Paddock, both cousins of the groom. Flower girl was Kynley Powell, niece of the bride.
Groomsmen were Chet Powell, brother of the bride, Joe Abernathy and Ryan Tolley, both friends of the groom, John Mark Paddock, Josh Paddock, and Dustin Paddock, all cousins of the groom. Ring bearer was Lliam Chaplin, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Darrin Rahm and Ben Allison, both friends of the groom.
Music was provided by Lea Johnson, aunt of the bride and Cassie and Cody Chaplin, sister and brother-in-law of the groom.
After a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple resides in Covington.
