— Wesley United Methodist Church in Urbana was the setting for the May 4, 2013, wedding of Emily Oreskovich and Steve Kehl. The Rev. Jerry Nichols performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Laurie Oreskovich of Westville. She is a 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is employed as a merchandise planner at the corporate headquarters for Kohl’s Department Stores in Menomonee Falls, Wis.

The groom is the son of Andrew and Carol Kehl of Normal. He is a 2008 graduate of the University of Illinois. He has a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture and is employed as a landscape designer at Hawk’s Landscape in Milwaukee, Wis.

Matrons of honor were Katie Loudin of Buckhannon, W.Va., sister of the bride, and Hayley Furnish of Westville, cousin of the bride. Attendants were Jen Downey and Allison Kaminski, both of Chicago and both friends of the bride. Flower girls were Milee and Addison Ellis of Olivet, cousins of the bride.

Best man was Richard Kehl of Normal, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Michael Kehl of Naperville, brother of the groom, and Andy Sadoun of Raleigh, N.C., and Brian Barnum of Chicago, both friends of the groom. Ushers were Adam Loudin of Buckhannon, W.Va., and JT Furnish of Westville.

Vocalist was Katie Loudin. The reading was presented by Adrian Kehl of Independence, Mo.

The bride wore a Demetrios sweetheart neckline ball gown with an embellished rhinestone and beaded waistline. Her hair and makeup were styled by Rod Sickler Salon and Spa. Her bridal bouquet was designed by Abbott’s Florist.

The reception was held at the historical University of Illinois Memorial Stadium in the Colonnades Club. Upon guests’ arrival, the University of Illinois Marching Illini played in the columns of the stadium. During the cocktail hour, the Marching Illini, under the direction of Mike West, performed for the guests. Emily and Steve met each other when they were members of the Marching Illini. The guests enjoyed the Chief Illiniwek sculpted cake and cupcake tower by MeMe’s Treat Boutique after dinner.

After a honeymoon to Riviera Maya, the couple will reside in Milwaukee.
