Brendan John Fisher Smith and Angela Christine Early married on Aug. 11, 2012, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Greg Nelson officiated.
Parents of the bride are Scott and Mary Early Cropper of Alvin. She is the granddaughter of Richard and Sharon Early of Penfield and Don and Marsha Cropper of Armstrong.
Parents of the groom are Larry Elmer and Cynthia K. Smith of Danville. He is the grandson of the late Elmer and Wilma Smith, and the late Roy and Nina Fisher.
Maid of honor was Emily Rivera. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Cropper, sister of the bride; Katrina Smith and Julie Smith, sisters of the groom; Carrie Horak; and Ellen Norris. Best man was Kevin Kroll. Groomsmen were Joseph Cropper, brother of the bride; Nithin Shetty, brother-in-law of the groom; Joseph Larson, Truman Shuck, and Rodger Lau.
Flower girl was Caroline Edmundson, niece of the bride. Ring bearer was Davis Early, nephew of the bride. Ushers were Ben Schmitt and Kevin Kleczka.
Readings were read by Sharon Early, grandmother of the bride, and Larry Smith, father of the groom. The reception was held at the Beef House Banquet Hall, Covington, Ind.
The bride is a graduate of Burkburnett High School 2007, Burkburnett, Texas, and the University of Illinois, 2011, with a degree in specialized chemistry. She works at Autonomic Manufacturing Inc. in Champaign as a development scientist and lab manager.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Schlarman High School, Danville Area Community College in 2007 with a science of engineering degree, and studied history at the University of Illinois. He is a lead support technician for Watchfire Signs by Time-O-Matic, Danville.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Fiji. They recently moved to a new home in St. Joseph.
