Tara Jaggers and Zack Holycross were united in marriage on Aug. 31, 2013, at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Loves Park. Msgr. Deutsch officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Terri Jaggers of Danville. She received a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and a master’s degree from Kansas State University. She works in physical therapy at Rockford Health Systems.
The bridegroom is the son of Gary W. and Christine Holycross. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University. He works for the IBEW Local 364 as a wireman and with the North Park Fire Protection District as a firefighter and EMT.
Matron of honor was Christin Murry of Oakwood, cousin of the bride. Maid of honor was Blair Drews of Danville, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Niki Royce of Louisville, Ky., Allison Miller of Wylie, Texas, and Debra Cochran of Richmond, Va., all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Kailie Holycross of Georgetown, niece of the groom.
Best man was Zeb Fitzwater of Danville, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Chris Martensen of Rockford, David Hopper of Batavia, and Brian Bavaro of Volo, all friends of the groom, and Travis Jaggers of Danville, brother of the groom.
Users were Kyle Greene of Georgetown, cousin of the groom, and Garett Holycross of Georgetown, nephew of the groom. Ringbearers were Cruz and Cooper Murray of Oakwood, cousins of the bride.
After a honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is at home in Loves Park.
