The bride’s mother’s backyard in Alvin was the setting for the May 25, 2013, wedding of Brittany Boyer and Marshall Harris. Preacher Tim Cary performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Troy and Rita Roderick of Alvin and David and Carla Boyer of Rossville. She is a 2005 graduate of Rossville-Alvin High School and graduated with honors. She has an associate’s degree from Danville Area Community College and is employed at Bunge as a quality assurance technician.
The groom is the son of Todd and Debbie Harris of Rossville and April Burris of Cape Coral, Fla. He is a 2000 graduate of Rossville-Alvin High School. He is employed at Full Choice Communications as a cable technician.
Matron of honor was Abbi Madison. Maid of honor was Erica Harris. Bridesmaids were Tiffany Cox, Kelly Flook and Lacee Agee. Junior bridesmaid was Dyani Boyer. Flower girls were Gracelyn Madison and Jacy Boyer.
Best man was Michael Gillis. Groomsmen were Nate Boyer, Shawn Gillis, Matt Boyer and Mike Madison. Junior groomsman was Brody Boyer. Ring bearers were the couple’s 3-year-old son, Zayne Harris, and Gage Sanders. Ushers were Matt Harris and David Tuttle.
The couple has been engaged since December 2011.
The wedding colors were coral and midnight blue. An acoustic guitar was played during the ceremony. The reception was held at the Boat Club in Danville.
After a honeymoon to the Sandals Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Bismarck.
