Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Wayne Jenkins

Alexander Wayne Jenkins and Dawn Runyan were united in marriage on Nov. 3, 2007, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Danville. Pam Stark officiated.

Dawn is the daughter of George and Pam Foehrer of Danville and the late Sondra Foehrer. She graduated from Schlarman High School in 1977 and is employed at Guitar Center Distribution as a logistic specialist.

Alexander is the son of the late Alexander (Eck) and the late Delores (Babe) Jenkins. He graduated from a Chicago high school in 1968.

Matron of honor was Cindy Esworthy of Danville, sister of the bride. Best man was Jesse Jenkins of Westville, brother of the groom.

The reception was held at the VFW in Danville, with music provided by The Rhythm Drifters, Jenkins Brothers Band and Country Classic Band. A beautiful three-tier heart-shaped cake was made by Molly Tolson of Danville, friend of the couple.

A honeymoon will be taken at a later date. The couple resides in Catlin.
