CARLINVILLE — The Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman football team’s season ended on Saturday with a 47-6 loss to Carlinville in a Class 2A regional game.
Troy Rodriguez scored the only touchdown for the Buffaloes, who end the season at 5-5.

Danville third in Big 12 meet
CHAMPAIGN — Grace Jackowski took third in the 50 freestyle (27.10 seconds) as the Lady Vikings ended up third in the Big 12 Conference meet.
Jackowski was also fourth in the 100 freestyle (58.72).
Madeline Swiersz was fourth in the 100 breaststroke (1:14.58) and fifth in the 200 individual medley (2:24.77) while Tess Shore was fourth in the (500 freestyle ( 6:17.93)and Marissa Burleson was fifth in the 100 backstroke (1:08.20).
The 200 medley relay (2:03.10) and 400 freestyle (4:03.78) relay teams took fourth for Danville.
MEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL
Lincoln Trail 87, DACC 76
ROBINSON — D’Lando Carter and John Stahl each had 16 points, but the Jaguars could not get the win in new head coach DaJuan Gouard’s first game.
“Other than the final score, it was a good game,” Gouard said. “We played hard but we made mistakes and that is what happens with a young team.
“I have to tip my hat off to them (Lincoln Trail). They have some good shooters and 6-7 sophomores who do everything well.”
Joseph English had 14 points while Kenny Dean added 11 for the Jaguars, who will play Wabash Valley College on Tuesday.
WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL
Moberly Area 68, DACC 60
QUINCY — The Lady Jaguars were down by 13 at halftime and was down by as much as 20 before battling back near the end in their season opener at the John Wood Classic.
Kameren Cole had 32 points with seven 3-pointers for DACC while Cayton Cole had 12 points.
The Lady Jaguars will try to regroup in the Classic today against the Central Methodist JV team.
