OAKWOOD — Jac Haudenschild from Wooster, Ohio almost ran into a wall during the dash for the top spot in the Midwest Open Wheel Association Winged Sprint field, but rebounded to get the win in the feature at the first night of action at Vermilion County Speedway on Sunday.
Haudenschild also rebounded from not finishing in a race Saturday in Haubstadt, Ind.
Also in non-wing sprint action, former Larry Cannon Memorial winner Shane Cottle, came back to VCS to win the feature, while Nick Allen of Wheatfield, Ind. won the UMP modified feature and Jesse Simmons of Danville held off Jerrad Krick and Jordan Smith to get the win in the street stock class.
More information on the race will be in Tuesday's Commercial-News.
