---- — DANVILLE — Andy Bott shot a 35 as the Bismarck-Henning boys golf team’s score of 160 defeated Danville’s 186 in the first dual meet for both teams on Tuesday at Turtle Run Golf Course.
David Warren had 39 for the Blue Devils while Noah Campbell had a 42 and Logan Reifsteck added 44.
Reed Krynski had a 43 to lead the Vikings while Brad Taylor shot a 46, Jon Brinkley carded a 48 and Logan Oakes shot a 49.
Danville will be in action today at the Bloomington Purple Raider Invitational while the Blue Devils will take on Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley on Thursday.
North Montgomery 3, Covington 1
COVINGTON, Ind. — Brooke Ahrens had 11 kills and seven assists as the Trojans lost their opener at home to North Montgomery.
“We started out pretty slow against a good team,” Covington coach Jennifer Sumlin said. “But the good thing is we played hard near the end.”
Regan Foster had six kills and two blocks for the Trojans, while Courtney Root had five kills and two aces, Addison Smith had nine assists and Kennedie Krout had two aces.
Covington will try to regroup on Tuesday when it travels to Terre Haute, Ind. to play West Vigo.

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. — Kody Keeling was the closest Mustang to a win, losing 6-4, 6-1 in his No. 1 singles match, as the team was swept in their opener.
“This match was a good way for us to start or season, competing against a quality program,” Fountain Central coach Chris Webb said. “Our doubles teams witnessed first-hand how important movement and aggressiveness is in the sports of doubles and Kody Keeling displayed that he can compete at No.1 singles.
The Mustangs will try to regroup on Thursday against Attica.
