The Danville softball team pounded out 10 hits as it defeated Oakwood 13-0 in five innings on Tuesday in non-conference action.
Megan Cox had two RBIs for the Vikings, while Kennedy Richards had three hits and one RBI and Jordan Ogle, Lindsey Loewenstein, Kristi Burghart, Kylie Baxter and winning pitcher Chloe Davis each had one.
The Vikings are 3-4 and will play Terre Haute South today.
Lexi Cortapassi took the loss while Kaylee Morman had a double for Oakwood, who is 1-5 and will play Westville today.

HOOPESTON — The Cornjerkers gave up six runs in the seventh as they were defeated at home by Clifton Central.
Jordan McFadden had a home run and two RBIs for Hoopeston Area while Hailee Swinford had two while Rylee Martin and Jhance Marshall each had one.
Carissa Vaughn took the loss for the Cornjerkers, who are 4-6 and will face Bismarck-Henning on Thursday.
COVINGTON, Ind. — Andi Taylor had two hits and two RBIs as the Trojans defeated the Red Ramblers in the Wabash River Conference opener for both teams.
Aliah Larsen, Macie Cooper, Regan Foster and Kendra Wallace each had two hits and one RBI for Covington, while Madison Hanson and Mallory Ponder each had one RBI.
Alexis Burris had two RBIs for Attica while Ashley Mitton had one.
The Trojans are 1-2 while the Red Ramblers are 2-4 and will meet each other again on Thursday.

WEST LEBANON, Ind. — The Patriots had two on base after scoring four runs in the seventh inning, but Falcons pitcher Linzi Woodard got the final strikeout to preserve the win.
Whitney McMasters had a triple and a double for North Vermillion while Taylen Balding had a double.
Kirsten Irvine and Emily Baroff each had two this for Seeger, who are 3-4 and 0-1 in the WRC.
The Falcons are 7-0 and 3-0 in the WRC and will play Seeger against today.
Salt Fork 13
JAMAICA — Ross Learnard had a home run and three RBIs as the Storm defeated Tri-Valley on non-conference action.
Noah Darr had three hits and two RBIs for Salt Fork while Cole Taylor had two RBIs and Chase Sanford, Garrett McFadden and Connor Taylor each had one RBI.
The Storm is 7-5 and will face Schlarman today.
North Vermillion 7
WEST LEBANON, Ind. — The Falcons got five runs to take a 5-2 lead in the second inning but the Patriots scored five of their own in the third as they went on to get the win.
Zach Stitt had two doubles and Jordan Stover had a triple for Seeger while Wade Harrison hit a home run for North Vermillion.
The Patriots are 3-1 and the Falcons are 3-5 and both teams will play each other again today, this time in Cayuga, Ind.

DANVILLE — Kimmy Montgomery had three goals as the Knights started the season with a shutout victory over Manhattan’s Community Christian.
Hannah Wells and Ashley Greazer each had two goals for First Baptist while Emma Ravens added one goal and Greazer had an assist.
Sydni Neal had five saves in goal for the Knights, who will play the Urbana University junior varsity team on Thursday.

VEEDERSBURG, Ind. — The doubles teams of Clare McGrady and Abby Moore and Alli Fay and Jordan Lindquist each got wins as the Mustangs defeated the Rox.
Katharyn Majors won in singles action for Fountain Central, who is 1-1 overall and the Wabash River Conference and will play Benton Central on Thursday.
Attica hosts triangular meet
ATTICA, Ind. — Kenny Little won two individual events as the Attica boys team was third in a home triangular with Lafayette Central Catholic and Rockville.
Little won the high jump (6 feet) and the 200 meter dash (23.72 seconds) for the Red Ramblers, while Jared Fonacier won the 300 hurdles (47.22) and Tyler Campbell won the 110 hurdles (18.25).
In the girls meet, Kaley Sosnowski won the 100 dash (13.62) and the 300 hurdles (51.12) as Attica was second to Rockville.
Lincoln Trail 6
DANVILLE — The Jaguars took the early lead but Lincoln Trail scored five runs in the fourth inning to get the win at Danville Stadium.
Aaron Gardner had two hits for DACC while Tyler Minogue drove in the only run,
Skyler Reis took the loss for the Jaguars, who will play a doubleheader with Parkland College today at 2 p.m.
