ATTICA, Ind. — Ethan Snyder shot a 87 as the Covington boys golf team won the Bi-County Golf Tournament on Tuesday at Harrison Hills Golf Course.
Jansen Applegate shot a 88 for the Trojans while Tyler Hankins carded a 90 and Grady Hilge had a 105.
Attica was second with Matt Oilar shooting a 89, Damon DeSutter scored a 91, Sam Carlson carded a 96, and Mackall Acheson had a 100
Fountain Central was third with Issac Stonebreaker leading the way with a 93, Tyler Hoagland had a 94, Shelby Curtis scored a 97 and Conner Hudson had a 103.
Chance Howard was the medalist for fourth-place Seeger with a 85, while Cory Bryant had a 97, Kolton Perry had a 104 and Jacob Jernagen had a 144.
Howard, Snyder, Applegate, Oilar and Hankins were each named All Bi-County.
Central 9, Danville 2
CHAMPAIGN — The Vikings only had two hits and struck out 12 times as they were defeated by the Maroons.
Austin West had both hits and a RBI for Danville, while Mike Vascura took the loss with three strikeouts.
The Vikings are 6-17 and will play Central again on Thursday.
Salt Fork 12, Bismarck-Henning 1
JAMAICA — Ross Learnard gave up only two hits and had 12 strikeouts as the Storm finished up a five-inning win over the Blue Devils in a game that was postponed on Friday.
Noah Darr had two hits and two RBIs for Salt Fork, while Garrett McFadden had a home run and two RBIs, Cole Taylor had two RBIs, while Cole Sanford and Colton Baird each had one RBI.
Dylan Dodd had a solo home run for Bismarck-Henning, who will play Westville today.
Salt Fork is 21-2 and 15-0 in the Vermilion Valley Conference and will take on Tuscola today.
