---- — BLOOMINGTON — The Danville girls track team picked up four wins as they were able to beat the pack at the Lady Raider Invitational on Friday.
Sadie Elliott won the 3,200 in 11 minutes, 51.75 seconds for Danville, while Aariona Graham won the long jump (17 feet, 1 inch) and Lashay Grubbs won the triple jump (34-10).
The Vikings’ 800 relay team also won in a time of 1:45.28.
Elliott was also second in the 1,600 (5:21.50), while Emone Davis was third in the 100 (12.65), Desiree Issac was fourth in the 200 (27.22), Imani Hall was third in the 400 (1:01), Ambrosia Williams was sixth in the pole vault (9-6) and Ashley Forthenberry was sixth in the shot put (36-0).
Hedges wins for Salt Fork
MONTICELLO — Salt Fork’s Nick Hedges won the 100 meter dash as the Storm participated in the Monticello Boys Invitational.
Hedges won the events in a time of 11.43 and took second in the 200 meter dash (23.17). Hedges was also part of the 400 relay team with Taylor Kirby, Colton Fauver and Luke Maddox, who ended up second at 44.67.
Maddox was third in the long jump (19-7) while Nick Barr was third in the shot put (45-11 1/2).
Salt Fork 7, Bismarck-Henning 6
BISMARCK — The Storm jumped out to a 7-0 lead, but the Blue Devils got within one run by the seventh inning and had a runner on third before the game ended.
Winning pitcher Logan Sanford and Camryn Todd each had two RBIs for Salt Fork, who will host Unity today.
Lindsay Andrews had four hits and two RBIs for Bismarck-Henning while Brittany Ribbe and Lani Andrews each had two hits and one RBI and losing pitcher Emmie Hawkins and Ella Nelson each had one RBI.
The Blue Devils are 6-4 and 2-2 in the Vermilion Valley Conference and will play Oakwood on Monday.
North Montgomery 18, Covington 0
CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. — The Trojans had three hits but seven errors as they lost to North Montgomery in five innings.
Gage Hegg, Peyton Cutrell and Ollie Pettit each had a single for Covington, who will play Rockville today in Wabash River Conference action.
John Wood 9-10, DACC 0-3
QUINCY — The Jaguars had nine hits on the day as they were swept by the Trailblazers.
Logan Barnes had a home run and an RBI for DACC in the second game, while Brazon Wheeler had two hits and a RBI.
The Jaguars are 19-13 and 10-8 in the Mid-West Athletic Conference and will play John Wood again today.
Hoopeston Area’s Annabelle Goble hit a home run during Thursday’s 2-1 softball win over Bismarck-Henning.
