OAKWOOD May 13, 2008 06:41 am

Oakwood pitcher Katie Lee throws a shutout and was the stand out for her team in round one of the Class 1A Salt Fork Regional.
Lee had her career high in strike outs with 10 allowing only two hits and two walks as Oakwood defeated Shiloh/Chrisman 8-0. At the plate Lee had four hits.
“Katie pitched an excellent game,” Oakwood coach Rick Bough said. “She also had four hits and was very patient at the plate. We weren’t used to seeing a pitcher like Lock so the girls had to adjust. Katie did a nice job of making adjustments.”
