Thursday, 7:44-7:55 a.m. — Medical call in the unit block of East Harrison Street.

Thursday, 11:16-11:27 a.m. — Medical call in the 2900 block of North Vermilion Street.

Thursday, 12:21-12:27 p.m. — Medical call in the 100 block of West Fairchild Street.

Thursday, 12:31-12:37 p.m. — Medical call in the 900 block of North Gilbert Street.

Thursday, 1:59-2:10 p.m. — Medical call in the 200 block of Avenue C.

Thursday, 4:56-5:02 p.m. — Smoke scare in the 900 block of North Walnut Street.

Thursday, 11:40-11:56 p.m. — Medical call in the 600 block of East English Street.

Friday, 1:28-1:35 a.m. — Medical call in the 1100 block of Dakota Street.

Friday, 5:34-5:42 a.m. — Medical call in the 600 block of Grant Street.

    First, we went from a seven-day publishing cycle to a six-day publishing cycle, eliminating the Monday Commercial-News.

  • Don't delay decisions about care In many instances, full treatment is provided even when these measures are futile. In the instance of maintaining life sustaining treatments when they are futile, the cost is even greater than a monetary value. At some point, the quality of life needs to outweigh the quantity. With a terminal diagnosis, treatments to extend life incur a great cost to suffering for the patient and for the family of the patient.
