WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. — Sydni Kay Blackwell, 20, of Williamsport, Ind., passed away at 12:45 p.m. Friday Jan. 11, 2013, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
She was born Oct. 15, 1992, in Hoopeston.
She is survived by her father, Craig Blackwell (Kristi Edwards); mother, Suzi (Hultquist) Etchison; and stepfather, Burt Etchison. She also is survived by her grandparents, Rozanna (Ray) Estep of Anderson, Ind., and Steve (Barb) Blackwell of Hoopeston; three sisters, Nikki (Justin) Barr of Bloomington, Jessi Ritter (Marc Engelbach) of Norman, Okla., and Meadow Blackwell of Hoopeston; one brother, Jimmy (Olivia) Carl of Hoopeston; three nephews, Mason Barr, Castor Engelbach and Evan Carl; and one niece, Anna Barr.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Calvin Hultquist.
Sydni was a graduate of Seeger Memorial High School in West Lebanon, Ind. She worked in the office at Stewart Grain in Bismarck. She enjoyed riding four-wheelers, fishing, drawing, shopping and spending time with her niece and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Anderson Funeral Home, 427 E. Main St., Hoopeston. A private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 16.
