Elizabeth Keller, 101, a life resident of Covington, Ind., died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2013, at Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Jan. 20, 1912, near Covington to Clyde Newton and Rose C. (Knowles) Price.
She graduated from Covington High School in 1930 and was employed at General Electric in Danville for 21 years before retiring on Aug. 1, 1968. She was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
Elizabeth married Cyril Homer Keller on Oct. 19, 1963, at Covington Baptist Church. He died March 11, 1980. Surviving is a son, Robert (Charlene) Carey of Cayuga, Ind.; a daughter, Janet Sloan of Covington; a step-son, Montie (Betty) Keller of Covington; and seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Private burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery directed by Shelby Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences to the family: firstname.lastname@example.org.
