Harold L. Williams, 82, of Bourbonnais and formerly of Stockland, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013, at his home.
Harold was born June 21, 1930, in Wellington, a son of Charles and Nima Carlson Williams.
He married Phyllis A. Collins on Dec. 30, 1951, in Norfolk, Va., and she preceded him in death on Oct. 2, 2011.
Survivors include one son, Chris Williams of Carrollton; three daughters, Carol (Tom) Wedl of Jefferson, Wis., LeeAnn Williams of Bourbonnais and Susan Williams of Bourbonnais; one brother, Donald Williams of Portland, Ore.; one grandson, Matthew Williams of Carrollton; and one great-granddaughter, Jasmine Williams of Carrollton.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Williams served in the U.S. Navy. He also was a member of the Milford Christian Church and a retired farmer.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, May 11, at Milford Christian Church. The Revs. Brent Zastrow and Gary Milton will officiate. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery in Stockland, with military graveside rites by Watseka American Legion Post 23 and Iroquois County VFW Post 7450.
