Kevin Lee Drennan, 56, of Alvin, passed away at 9:36 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at his home in Alvin. He was born Sept. 12, 1957, in Danville, the son of Clarence and Evelyn (Baker) Drennan.
He is survived by his father Clarence and step-mother Sharon Drennan of Alvin; two brothers, Mike (Rita) Drennan of Alvin and Tim (Chris) Drennan of Indianola; three nephews, Shawn (Becky) Drennan and Allen (Brandi Rainwater) Drennan, all of Alvin, and Paul Drennan of Indianola; one niece, Ashley (Gabe) Shonk of Indianola, along with many great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother, Evelyn; step-father, Ben Nichols; and a niece, Amber Drennan.
Kevin loved spending time with his family and especially working with his Dad. He loved to go fishing and hunting ginseng. He was a very talented artist that could draw anything he laid his eyes on. Kevin never met a stranger and was loved by all that knew him.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held from 3–5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at the Alvin Church of God, 109 South St., Alvin, IL 61811. Burial will be held at a later date.
