Kenneth E. Fox

WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. — Kenneth E. Fox, 84, of Wheatfield, Ind., formerly of Williamsport, Ind., died at 1:39 p.m. EST Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Crown Point, Ind.

Kenneth was born Dec. 2, 1928, in Williamsport, Ind. He was the son of Ray G. and Estella (High) Fox.

He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1946 and married Martha Byers on June 20, 1948, in West Lebanon, Ind. She preceded him in death on April 14, 2009. He was a lifelong resident of Warren County.

Kenneth was a lifetime farmer. He enjoyed the outdoors and being with his family. He was a kind and generous man whose humor and quick wit was welcomed by all. He will be deeply missed. He was a member of the West Lebanon Christian Church and the F&AM Lodge 612 Jordan.

Surviving are three children, Vicki Maple (husband: Steve) of Wheatfield, Ind., Diana Myers of Valparaiso, Ind., and Gary Fox (wife: Tammy) of South Bend, Ind.; one brother, Bob Fox of Williamsport, Ind.; six grandchildren, Eric Maple (wife: Carly), Stephanie Ingram, Shanna Pogue (husband: Tim), Troy Myers (wife: Tonya), Jessie Kinney (husband: Ryan) and Justin Fox; and six great-grandchildren, Emma Maple, Brock Maple, Ava-Grace Pogue, Cooper Myers, Lilliana Myers and Griffin Pogue.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Byers Fox; brother, Don Fox; and son, Doug Fox.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. EST Monday, Feb. 11, at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport, Ind., with Masonic services at 7:45 p.m. EST. Services will begin at 11 a.m. EST Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the chapel, with Minister Bruce Thornsbrough officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport, Ind.
