DANVILLE — James N. Wilson, 76, of Danville, passed away at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Gardenview Manor Nursing Home, Tilton.
James was born April 8, 1937, in Lebanon, Ky., to George and Vesta Bunche Wilson.
He married Kathryn Pate on Aug. 10, 1957, in Danville.
She survives of Danville, along with special friends, Sharon Allison and Brandon Allison. Also surviving are four children, John Wilson of Oakwood, Timothy (fiancé, Jeri Hanson) Wilson of Oakwood, Cathy (fiancé, Pat Smyth) Bridgewater of Danville, and Steven Wilson of Potomac; two brothers, Woodrow (Judy) Wilson of Rockville, Ind., and Lynn Wilson of Danville; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Eugene, Robert “Bud,” George Thomas and Charles Wilson; and one granddaughter, Ashley Wilson.
James was retired mechanic from General Motors. He owned his own mechanic shop and enjoyed working in his garage. He loved fishing and camping at Kentucky Lake.
