Pauline T. Ervin, 85, of Danville, died at 7:50 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Paris Health Care Center.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 21, at Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams, Danville, IL, 61832, with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating. Visitation: 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at Pape’s. Memorials: American Cancer Society, 2509 S. Neil Street-1, Champaign, IL 61820. Burial: Greenwood Cemetery.
Pauline was born April 27, 1928, in Danville to Thomas Harrison and Lela Frances Quick. She attended Fairchild and Grant grade schools and Danville High School. She had worked for Earl Gastoff designing Christmas decorations. She enjoyed playing bunko, PTA and raising her children. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pauline married Junior Dale Ervin on Dec. 4, 1945, in Danville and he preceded her on May 9, 1994. Survivors include three daughters, Nancy (Philip) Bouslog, Frances Goble and Pamela (David Hamblin) Pate; two brothers, Gerald (Shirley) Quick and Carl Quick; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents; her husband, Junior Dale; a sister, Ilene Mullins; and a brother. Paul Quick. She was a “Very Good Person.”
