Kelly H. Cunningham, 46, of Danville passed away at 8:24 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Kelly was born April 2, 1966, in Fort Campbell, Ky., to Hobart and Eldoretta K. McCoy VanValkenburg.
Kelly was married to Cary Cunningham in 1989. They later divorced. He survives in Georgetown.
Also surviving are her father of Atlanta, Ga.; one son, Cory (Ashley) Lynch of Danville; two daughters, Brittany (Nick Gilbert) Lynch of Florida and Carlena (Colby Bridgewater) VanValkenburg of Tilton; two brothers, Jim VanValkenburg and Victor (Dawn) VanValkenburg of Danville; one sister, Robin (Steve) Baily of Danville; five grandchildren, Brian James Lynch, T.J. Eads (her joy in life), Dallas Lynch, Emilia Bridgewater and Blain Carter-Lynch; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her boyfriend, Todd Jennings. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eldoretta K. Pierce, and her stepfather, Jesse W. Pierce.
Kelly was a great mother who was an avid euchre enthusiast and had many good friends who will miss her greatly. She loved fishing, bowling, bingo, skating and spending time with her boyfriend, friends, family and most of all her grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Robison Chapel, Catlin, with Pastor Daniel Carlock officiating. Burial in Songer Cemetery, Tilton, at a later date.
