Larry D. Nave, age 72, of Paris, formerly of Chrisman, passed away 6:15 a.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013, in Paris Healthcare Center, Paris.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Paris. He loved Jesus.
Larry was employed by Lebanon Fertilizer Chemicals, Danville, for 42 years.
He cherished his parents, wife and family. Larry was a friend to all animals.
He was born July 28, 1940, in Cayuga, Ind., the son of the late Otto Vernon and Virginia Lee Cook Nave.
Larry married Lynda Ballard Nave on June 18, 1960, in Chrisman.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda; his children, Gregory Nave and wife, Krisie, of Davison, Mich., and Vicki Nave of Converse, Texas; his grandchildren, Karli Nave and Jacob Nave, both of Davison, Mich., Eric Nave of Converse, Texas, and Matthew Costello of Converse, Texas; his brothers, William Nave of Catlin, Joe Nave of Indianapolis, John Nave of Crawfordsville, Ind., and Russell Nave of Hagerstown, Md.; his sisters Patricia Tingley of Paris and Catrice Gackle of Terre Haute, Ind.
Larry was preceded in death by his sister Naomi Veach.
Following cremation, funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, at Grace Lutheran Church, Paris, with the Rev. Ryan Fehrmann officiating. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Chrisman.
