WESTVILLE — Jacqueline Billingsley, 80, of Westville, went to be with the Lord at 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at Paris Healthcare Center, with family by her side.
She was born on Aug. 11, 1933, in Sterling to William and Effie (Buck) Chasteen.
She married Charles “CW” Billingsley on Aug. 17, 1950, in southern Illinois.
Jacqueline is survived by one son, Billy (Michelle) Billingsley; two daughters, Raya Billingsley and Janice Bush; five granddaughters, DaLee (Bobby) Mathas, Valerie (Ron) Bush, Stef (Jimbo) Wickham, Autem (Steve) Bush and Beth (Shawn) Bush; one grandson, Jason (Haley) Billingsley; several great-grandchildren, Caden Billingsley, Jaycie Jenkins, Garion Grant, Lauren and Mia Haworth, Kaylee and Gage Secuskie, Mason and Pasley Billingsley, Christopher and Emily; and one great-great-grandson, little Troy. Also left behind are many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, CW; and one grandson, Troy Billingsley.
Jacqueline was enthusiastic when it came to crocheting and knitting. She made blankets and scarves for everyone in her family. She liked to tend to her flowers in the yard. When she was able to, Jacqueline attended Morey Chapel.
