Kenneth C. Gagnon, 66, of Rossville passed away at 2:10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at Carle Hoopeston Regional Medical Center in Hoopeston.
He was born Sept. 27, 1946, in Danville, the son of Alfred and Elva (Roberts) Gagnon. He married Donna Turner on Oct. 21, 1966, in Rossville. She survives in Rossville.
Other survivors include one daughter, Pam (Allen) Stevens of Rankin; one son, Michael (Megan) Gagnon of Danville; one brother, Kurt (Shirley) Gagnon; grandchildren, Eric Bell, Jacob Mann, Miranda Williams, Dylan Stevens, Nicholas Stevens, Bodyn Gagnon and Maya Gagnon; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Juanita Cox; and one brother, Don Gagnon.
Kenny was a self-employed contractor for several years. He and his wife, Donna, also were previous owners of The Village Pub in Rossville for 10 years. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Kenny especially enjoyed woodworking, golfing and taking his dog Harvey for car rides and walks.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at Anderson Funeral Home, 427 E. Main St., Hoopeston. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. Friday at Anderson Funeral Home, with Pastor Adam Taubert officiating. Burial will be in the Rossville Cemetery and military rites will be accorded by the Rossville American Legion Post 733.
