Faustino “Junior” Carmona III

WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. — Faustino “Junior” Carmona III, 29, of Williamsport died at 5:44 p.m. EDT Monday, April 1, 2013, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

Junior was born Oct. 11, 1983, in Danville, Ill., to Faustino Carmona Jr. and Lisa Marie (Cook) Acton.

He was raised in Danville until age 12, when he moved to Williamsport. He attended Seeger High School.

Junior had worked for TMF Center and Harrison Steel Casting Co. He was currently self-employed as a carpenter. He loved spending time with his children and playing ball with his son, Gage. He liked to collect stuff and go fishing.

Surviving are his mother, Lisa Acton of Lafayette, and stepfather, John Acton of Williamsport; longtime girlfriend, Melissa Beardsley of Williamsport; two children at home, Gage Anthony Carmona and Alivia Marie Carmona; siblings, Brisa Flores of Atlanta, Ga., Alicia (J.R.) Hubbard of Williamsport, Christina (Brady) Brenner of Lafayette, Ind., Angel Acton of Lafayette, Ind., Joshua Smith of West Lebanon, Ind., Kevin Acton of Williamsport, Steven (Savannah) Acton of Attica, Ind., and Avery Acton of Williamsport; maternal grandmother, Jane Cook of Danville; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; “brother, cousin, best friend,” Christopher Cook (Misty) of Westville, Ill.; and best friend, Nicholas Little of Attica.

Junior was preceded in death by his father, nephew and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. EDT Thursday, April 4, at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport. Services will begin at 1 p.m. EDT Friday, April 5, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Clint Fink officiating and Brisa Flores and Christopher Cook speaking. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grady Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses. Online condolences may be made at www.gradyfuneralhome.com.
