POTOMAC — Harold M. Jolley, 79, of Potomac, passed away at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville.
Harold was born Sept. 19, 1934, in Potomac, the son of Winnie Martin and Ruby Mae (Spain) Jolley.
He married Shirley Deloris Spangler on April 27, 1956, in Danville. She survives.
He also is survived by two sons, Douglas Hall (Elizabeth) Jolley of Centerville, Ohio, and Timothy Martin (Mary) Jolley of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; and seven grandchildren, Tyler Jolley, Christian Jolley, Kaitlin Willis, Allison Jolley, Shean Jolley, Matthew Jolley and Samantha Jolley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Harold graduated from Potomac High School in 1953. He served in the United States Navy. He also was a member of Middlefork United Methodist Church, Potomac American Legion and Potomac Masonic Lodge 0782.
Harold worked in regional sales for Del Storm and Season-All. He sold windows, siding and home improvements. He also worked at Kirchner’s in Paxton. Harold enjoyed fishing, and he was very proud that he was born and raised and spent his whole life in Potomac.
A celebration of Harold’s life will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at the Wolfe-Blurton Funeral Home in Potomac, with Pastor Randy Holden officiating. Burial will follow the service in Potomac Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
