WEST LEBANON, Ind. — Madge Earlene Goodrick, 80, of West Lebanon, Ind., died at 7:39 a.m. EDT Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital.
Madge was born on March 7, 1934, in Marshfield, Ind. She was the daughter of Earl and Ella (DuVall) Goodrick.
Madge attended West Lebanon schools. She lived in West Lebanon most of her life, living at the Warren County Home from 1984 until 2008 when she moved to the Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Madge worked for Hicks Truck Stop for several years. She was a member of West Lebanon Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed playing cards and doing search-a-word puzzles.
Surviving are one brother, John Goodrick of West Lebanon, Ind.; best friend, Faye McDougal of West Lebanon, Ind.; three nieces, Cheryl Bushor (boyfriend, Charles Rogers) of West Lebanon, Ind., Martha White of Attica, Ind., and Rosella Potter (husband, David) of Crawfordsville, Ind.; two nephews, Wayne Goodrick of West Lebanon and Joseph Goodrick (wife, Gail) of Terre Haute, Ind.; and many great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Madge was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Catherine High, Alice Sigler and Janet Goodrick; one brother and sister-in-law, Gerald T. and Mearl Goodrick.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. EDT Thursday, May 1, at Grady Funeral Home in West Lebanon, Ind., until service time at noon EDT, with the Rev. Robert Trafford officiating.
