Petronella J. (Deltuva) Yuochunas

WESTVILLE — Petronella J. (Deltuva) Yuochunas, 99, formerly of Westville, more recently of Sterling, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at Sterling Pavilion in Sterling.

Petronella was born Oct. 1, 1913, in Westville to John and Elena Matukas Deltuva Sr.

Survivors include: one daughter, Sandra Sujka of Sterling. She was the grandmother to six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren and the aunt to several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother; her infant sister, Adele; and her other sister, Frances Fusco; one brother, John Deltuva Jr.; one great-grandson, Jonathan (Phillips) Dominic; one granddaughter, Brenda June (Phillips) Leffler; and one great-nephew, John Deltuva IV.

Petronella was a longtime rate clerk for the trucking industry prior to retirement.

Funeral services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Robison Chapel in Catlin, with Father Timothy Sauppe officiating. Burial will follow at Lithuanian National Cemetery, Westville. Visitation: 10 until service time on Saturday at Robison Chapel in Catlin. Online condolences: www.robisonchapel.com.
