Frances E. Glasgow Mumm, 89, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013, at the C-U Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Savoy.
Funeral services will begin at noon Tuesday, April 9, at Joines-Appleby Funeral Home, Newman. Pastor John Sharpe will officiate. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery, north of Newman. A visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
Frances was born June 24, 1923, in Fairland, a daughter of Chester Orval and Nellie Smith Jameson. She married Ross William Glasgow who preceded her in death. She later married Howard Mumm, who also preceded her in death.
Frances also was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Carolyn Glasgow, and her son, William Mackenzie Patterson.
Survivors include children, Eugene Ross (Jeannie) Glasgow and Gerry Alan (Mary) Glasgow; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Frances was a member of the Allerton United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed reading, traveling and being in the Canasta Club.
