DANVILLE — Grace Imogene Williams, 85, of Danville, passed away at 9:35 p.m. CDT Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Tilton.

She was born Nov. 17, 1927, in Danville, the daughter of the late Marchel Edward and Hattie Mae Phebus Kilbury.

She married William Ward Williams on Dec. 16, 1945, in Danville. He survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Carol (Alva) Gouty of Tilton, and Tammy J. Naylor of Cayuga, Ind.; one son, William W. (Janet) Williams, Jr. of Westville; six grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by nine sisters and five brothers.

Grace worked at General Electric in Danville for 34 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Grape Creek Baptist Church. Grace enjoyed working on crafts and spending time with her family.

Funeral services: 1 p.m. EDT Monday, April 8, at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Ind. Officiating: Pastor David Leary. Burial: Danville National Cemetery, Danville. Visitation: 11 a.m. EDT Monday, April 8, until time of services at the funeral home.
