TILTON — Wallace R. O’Neil, 76, of Tilton, passed at 3:33 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2014, at his home.
He was born Dec. 14, 1937, in Powers, Mich., to Walter and Alice Marlow O’Neil.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Dana (Terry) LaBounty of Tilton; seven sisters, Maxine Musgrove of Danville, Shirley (Gene) Price of Danville, Patsy Hronek of Green Bay, Wisc., Shelby (Al) Monaco of Port Orange, Fla., Linda (Bob) Woods of Catlin, Carmel (Ellis) Mellinger of Long Beach, Calif. and Sally (John) Lisick of Cayuga, Ind.; and two step-grandchildren, Josie Marble and Dylan Marble. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bill O’Neil.
Wally served in the Army and operated Walter O’Neil Trucking from 1966 to 1994. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 841, the Knights of Columbus and Catlin American Legion. He enjoyed NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhardt fan.
Funeral services 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 18, at Robison Chapel in Catlin. Burial with military honors in the Oakridge Cemetery in Catlin.
