Patsy (King) Pringle, 67, passed this life at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Presence United Samaritan Medical Center, Danville.
She was born Aug. 24, 1946, in Danville to the late William and Carrie Mae King. She was a graduate of Danville High School. Patsy was formerly employed by Danville Care Center.
Patsy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Patsy enjoyed playing cards, word searches, Family Feud, cracking jokes and talking on the phone.
Pasty leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Angela Collins (Terrance Newsome); three godchildren, Alexis, Whitney and Jordan; seven sisters, Shirley Smith, Frankie Walls, Wilhelmena Coe, Flossie Britt, Katherine Lillard, Alice Donald, all of Danville, and Kathleen Wade Hampton of Pacifica, Calif.; one brother, Ralph (JoAnna) King of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Mary Alice King of Joliet; and a host of nieces and nephews; and her two best friends, Sharon Crosby and Rona Adams.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers Jerry, Jasper and Aaron King.
Patsy will be truly be missed by her great nieces and nephews for whom she often babysat.
A celebration of life will commence at noon Friday, July 18, at New Life Church of Faith, 1419 N. Bowman Ave., Danville. A visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until the start of the service. Officiating: Pastor Linda Cooper. Interment: Atherton Cemetery.
