DANVILLE — Phyllis A. Largent, 73, of Danville, passed away at 9:58 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2014, at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville.
Phyllis was born Feb. 19, 1941, in Danville to Fredrick and Mabel Fugate Zimmerman.
Phyllis married Michael G. Largent Nov. 14, 1962, in Danville. He passed away Sept. 16, 2007.
Survivors include three sons, James (Becky) Newberry of Danville, Mark Largent of Danville and John (Brenda) Largent of Westville; three daughters, Nanette (Randy) Moore of Danville, Rose (Terry) Swaim of Tilton and Ann (Bryan) McDaniel of Perrysville, Ind.; two sisters, Rita Sapp of Hegler and Janet (Michael) Hogan of Champaign; one daughter-in-law, Penny Cope of Danville; one sister-in-law, Carol Zimmerman of Westville; a good family friend, Gary Bays; 17 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Paul; and one brother, Bill.
Phyllis worked for 14 years in housekeeping at the YWCA. She enjoyed playing bunko and attending rummage sales.
Funeral services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Robison Chapel in Catlin. Pastor Bill Wright to officiate. Burial in: Gordon Cemetery in Danville. Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Robison Chapel in Catlin.
