WESTVILLE — Louis James “Jimmy” Pepping Jr., of Westville, passed away at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Presence Covenant Medical Center, Urbana. He was born on May 24, 1942, in Danville, the son of Louis J. Sr. & Viola Price Pepping.
Survivors include: his mother, Viola Pepping of Westville; three sisters, Pam (Jim Moody Sr.) Orlea of Westville, Nancy (Tim) Crowder of Danville, and Lisa (Larry) Rife of Cayuga, Ind.; aunt & uncles, Ann & Harold Holycross of Westville and Howard and Sandy Price of Indiana; several nieces, nephews and cousins; several great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his dad, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fermer Price and Mr. and Mrs. James Pepping, and several aunts and uncles.
Jimmy liked horses and trucks and loved ice cream. He enjoyed going for rides in the car and camping. Most of all he loved his mom and dad dearly. The family would like to thank the 7th floor doctors and nurses at Presence Covenant in Urbana for their excellent care.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Robison Chapel in Catlin. Pastor James Blue will officiate. Burial in Forest Park Cemetery in Georgetown. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday at Robison Chapel in Catlin.
