WEST LEBANON, Ind. — Joshua Ryan Ellis, 29, of West Lebanon, Ind., died Friday, June 6, 2014, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
Josh was born in Danville, Ill., on April 4, 1985. He was the son of James Ellis and Lisa (Delp) Bishop.
He lived in Warren County all of his life and had attended Seeger High School.
Josh had worked at the Beef House Restaurant, Tru-Flex and Three J’s Pizza. He was a member of Wabash Valley Bible Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping, fishing, mushrooming, ginsenging and riding four-wheelers. He loved making people laugh.
Surviving are his father, James P. Ellis (wife: Annette) of Orange City, Fla.; mother, Lisa R. (Delp) Bishop (husband: Greg) of Kingman, Ind.; sons, Gabriel of Williamsport, Ind., and one due in September; sister, Jami Hannon (husband: Dusty) of Williamsport, Ind.; brother, Levi Ellis of Lafayette, Ind.; grandparents, Bud and Mildred Delp of West Lebanon, Ind.; several aunts and uncles; three nieces and three nephews and several cousins.
Josh was preceded in death by one sister, Elisa Ranee Ellis; paternal grandparents, Dewey and Leona Ellis; great-grandparents, Johnnie and Helen Uplinger and Chester and Thelma Delp.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. EDT Thursday, June 12, at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport, Ind. Services will begin at 2 p.m. EDT in the chapel Friday, June 13, with minister Drew Mentzer officiating. Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery.
