Kristian Ann Hayden, 21, of Danville, left us suddenly on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013.
A remembrance service will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Pape Family Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams St., in Danville, with Pastor James Williams officiating. Family will receive friends and celebrate her life from 2-6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to United Community Bank, 821 N. Vermilion St., Danville, in an account established for her son, Zaylen.
Kristian was born Nov. 19, 1991, in Danville.
She attended Danville schools, graduating from DHS and going on to DACC to earn her CNA license. Kristian currently worked at the Village Pantry of Ogden, and also loved working in retail and nursing throughout the years.
She married Gregory Hayden Jr. on May 21, 2010, and together they had a beautiful son, Zaylen.
Kristian was a free spirit whose energy for life surpassed us all. She loved music, singing karaoke and spending time with her family and friends. Her son was the love of her life, and her memory will live on in him forever.
She leaves behind her husband Gregory; and her two sons, Ian and Zaylen; her parents, Kimberly and Joe Dunbar; her brothers and sisters, Dustin Hacker (Andrea Shaw), Shelby Claypool (Mike Schull Jr.), Austin Dunbar, Devin Reese, Destiny Reese, Daylan Reese and Desiree Reese; grandparents, Jack Reese, Paula (Jack) White, Jeanne Willet (Roger Liggett) and Leonard Davis; aunts and uncles, Tina (Mark) Morgan, Laura (Melvin) Attebery, Tracy (Rocky) Meeker, Kenny (Julie) Dunbar, Harold (Stacy) Dunbar, Dan (Julie) Dunbar, Deana (Ty) Auter, Donald (Nicole) McMasters, Jackie Reese, Eddie Williamson and Johnny Williamson; a niece, Autumn Hayden; two nephews, Randall and David Jeffers; her mother- and father-in-law, Sharon and Gregory Hayden; and her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Steven Hayden, Amanda (Randy) Jeffers and Jessica (Steve) Borst; her biological father, Scott Reese; two special best friends, Lindsee Peterson and Merit Hicks; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jerry Hacker and Carol Davis, and Kenneth and Bonnie Dunbar.
