---- — Diana Lynn Hamm, 61, of Danville, left this world to begin her new life in Heaven on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

A celebration of Diana’s life will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at Pape Memorial Home in Danville with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating. A visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Monday prior to services. Donations may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.

Diana was born June 27, 1952, to Harold and Anna Ruth (Nipper) Miller in Danville.

She attended Washington Grade School and graduated from Danville High School. Diana most recently worked at KIK for the past 11 years as a line worker.

She enjoyed Bingo, going to the casinos, watching game shows — especially “Family Feud” and “Steve Wilkos” — and she never missed her “Young and the Restless.”

Above all else, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her five children, Wendy (Dan) Anderson, Jeri Cummings, Robert (Kelsey) Cummings, Jason (Tracy) Hamm and Crystal Hamm; 18 grandchildren; four sisters, Nancy (Larry) Curry, Linda Ronk, Jane Miller and Shirley (Raymond) Wagoner; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers: Rodney, Fred, Jimmy, and Robert.
