LAKEWOOD, Wash. — George Lesch, 90, passed away Aug. 13, 2013, in Lakewood, Wash.
He was born April 27, 1923, in Danville, Ill., to Otto and Martha (Higby).
He attained his Bachelor of Science in engineering from Colorado State University.
He married Ruth Rossiter Nov. 16, 1951.
He served three and a half years in the Army and was stationed in France during World War II. He worked as a civil engineer with over 20 years upon retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son David; brother, James.
He is survived by loving wife, Ruth; son Thomas (Dona); daughters, Ann (Robert), Mary (Thomas); eight grandkids; 14 great-grandkids.
Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at Cherry Grove Memorial Park, Poulsbo, Wash.
