Marjorie Beaver, 82, of Danville, went to be with the Lord at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on Sept. 24, 1930, in Danville, the daughter of Arthur and Emma May (Richards) Elliott, both deceased.
She was married to Earl Beaver until his death in 1998.
She is survived by her son, Richard Wilson of Danville; her daughter, Emma Jones of Danville; her seven grandchildren; her several great-grandchildren; her brothers, Ralph (Donna) Elliott and Jimmy (Mary) Elliott; and her sister, Josephine Marriage.
She was preceded in death by her son, Reese Lewis Billot; her great-grandson, Reese Lewis “Tre” Billot III; and her brothers and their wives, Johnny (Jonna) Elliott and Art (Leona) Elliott.
Marjorie enjoyed playing bingo, karaoke, fishing, camping and gardening. She also enjoyed playing Yahtzee, cards and variety of games. She loved life and lived it to its fullest.
A graveside service will begin at at 11 a.m. Monday, July 29, at Forest Park Cemetery, Georgetown. Sunset’s Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
