Frank married Imogene Canelle on Jan. 18, 1953. She was the love of his life and they celebrated 60 years of marriage this last January.

Frank attended Gorman and Fithian Grade School and graduated from Oakwood High School in 1952. He was an outstanding athlete in track, basketball and football. Frank raced sprint cars for over 20 years, enjoyed playing golf at Wolf Creek in Danville and watching Bears football.

One of his greatest achievements of being a brick mason for 56 years was being awarded his 50-year gold card from Local 8 Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen. Frank and Bill Hanson established a partnership business (Hanson Masonry) that was successful for 30 years in Danville.

Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday, July 7. The funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, July 8, at Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams St., Danville. He will be laid to rest at O’Bryan Family Cemetery west of Pesotum. Pastor Allen Miller will be officiating.
