CANNELTON, Ind. —
June F. Benjamin, 67, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Owensboro Health in Owensboro, Ky.
She was born May 1, 1946, in Rossville, Ill. Her parents were the late Sterling Hardwick and Barbara (Brown) Hardwick, who survives.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Jason Benjamin, and grandson, Nathanial Benjamin.
A homemaker, she had worked at General Electric, formerly in Danville, and Teepak, also located in Danville. June enjoyed painting and drawing, art and going to flea markets.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Micheal Benjamin, Cannelton, Ind.; mother, Barbara Hardwick, Rossville; daughter, Rosie Benjamin, Portland, Ore.; sons, Samson Benjamin, Cannelton, Ind., and Joseph Benjamin (Joann), Tell City, Ind.; stepson, Shawn Benjamin (Marcella), Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Kenneth Hardwick, Potomac; grandchildren, Austin and Noah Benjamin and Ashton and Aiden Benjamin.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, July 5, at Pape Mortuary in Danville, with burial in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Danville. There will be visitation from 4-8 p.m. EDT Wednesday, July 3, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, and from 9-11 a.m. Friday at Pape Mortuary in Danville.
