Kenneth Nolan, 64, of Westville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
He was born June 28, 1949, in Williamsport, Ind., the son of William Grant and Betty Lou (Kinny) Nolan.
Kenneth married Louise Bean on Dec. 30, 1976, in Georgetown. She survives.
He also will be greatly missed by his daughter, Tina Louise (Jeff English) Nolan of Georgetown; stepson, Troy Hathaway of Fort Wayne, Ind.; three grandchildren, Gage Hathaway, KateLynn Sullivan and Karlee Sullivan; two brothers, John (Joyce) Nolan and Randy Nolan, both of Danville; one sister, Kelly Boyle of Danville; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Kenneth was preceded in death by his dad, William; one sister, Cheryl LaTourett; brothers, Billy Nolan, William Nolan and Russell Nolan; and one nephew, Travis Messenger.
On Sunday afternoons, you would find Kenneth in his easy chair, with the television tuned to ESPN. Kenneth was Tony Stewart’s biggest fan and proudly sported the No. 14. He loved to attend auctions and rarely missed one.
Kenneth’s family was his greatest treasure and he enjoyed spoiling his children and grandchildren.
A celebration of Kenneth’s life will begin at 8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Jack Bean officiating. Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at noon Monday in Danville National Cemetery.
